1. Who we are
Ketogeni is run by Falkasete AS (org. nr. 988 195 154), Skreddarstuva 141, 4160 Finnøy, Norway. Contact: maria@herbwoman.com.
2. What Ketogeni is
Ketogeni is a library of gourmet keto recipes with cook mode, meal plans, shopping lists and filters. Nutrition figures are careful estimates per serving, calculated from public food tables (USDA FoodData Central, cross-checked with Matvaretabellen). Real ingredients vary.
Ketogeni is about food and cooking. It is not medical advice. A ketogenic diet is not right for everyone. Talk to your doctor before you start if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes or take medicine that lowers blood sugar (for example insulin or SGLT2 inhibitors), have kidney, liver or pancreas disease, or have had an eating disorder. Always check the allergen list of a recipe against your own needs.
3. Membership and payment
- Ketogeni membership is offered on a monthly and an annual plan. The current price of each plan is shown on the membership page and again at checkout before you pay. Prices are in NOK and include VAT. Prices shown in other currencies are approximate; you are always charged in NOK.
- You pay in advance for each period. The membership renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then shown for your plan, until you cancel.
- Payment is made by card through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- You can cancel at any time on your account page. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund the remaining part of a period you have started, unless the law gives you that right.
- If we change the price of your plan, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to you. You can cancel before then.
4. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven) when you buy a membership online. Because the membership gives you digital content straight away, we only start it when you ask us to and confirm that you understand that the right of withdrawal ends when you get access. You give this consent with the tick box before payment. If you contact us within 14 days without having used the membership, we will refund you.
5. Your account
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address. Keep access to your email safe. A membership is for you and your household, and may not be shared or resold.
What you pay. Each kitchen sets the price it receives for a dish. The price you see on Ketogeni is that price plus a Ketogeni service fee, always shown as one clear total including VAT before you pay — there are no hidden charges. Members pay a lower service fee, so they see a lower member price on every dish. In a single payment, the kitchen is paid for the food and Ketogeni is paid the service fee. The service fee that applies to your order is shown at checkout before you confirm.
6. Our content
Recipes, texts, photos and videos on Ketogeni are protected by copyright. You may cook from them and print them for your own use. You may not copy, publish or sell them, or use them to train software, without our written permission.
7. Responsibility
We work hard to keep recipes, nutrition figures and allergen lists correct, but we cannot promise that they are free of errors. Cook with normal care, especially with raw fish, raw eggs, shellfish and liver, and follow the safety notes in each recipe. Our responsibility follows Norwegian consumer law.
8. Complaints and law
Please contact us first; we answer within a few working days. You can also contact Forbrukerrådet for help with a complaint. Norwegian law applies.
